#36 The Upper Room – All Over This Town

The Upper Room – All Over This Town

It’s a funny feeling, not really
Comfort me, cos I’m hearing violins
In the streets, friends I meet say
It’s all over this town

The way you cheat, the way you lie
The way you want me to die
All over this
All over this
All over this town

The way you drive through the night
With a gun, me in your sights
All over this
All over this
All over this town

I’m caught in your headlights
No escape, move too late
And I’m hearing violins, in my head
In my bed,
Cause it’s all over this town
And that does get around

The way you cheat
The way you lie
The way you want me to die
All over this
All over this
All over this town

The way you drive through the night
With a gun, me in your sights
All over this
All over this
All over this town

So many questions, floating around
But for the moment, hide underground

The way you cheat
The way you lie
The way you want me to die
All over this
All over this
All over this town

The way you drive through the night
With a gun, me in your sights
All over this
All over this
All over this town

#37 Embrace – Target

Embrace – Target

You flicker like a mile high neon sign
Hot and cold so no one knows your mind
I was gonna let you win but I won’t break
For an hour I held the moon on a string
Now this moment left till the world begins
Everything is possible its beautiful

When will you wake up see what’s happening
Right before your eyes no
If you must blow hot and cold take a swing
You will hit the target every time

So I look before I leap and I see
Wolves are at the door with my enemies
I was gonna let them in but then you say
Watch the stars defeating my enemy
It’s too far for them to bring you to me
And everything is possible it’s beautiful

When will you wake up see whats happening
Right before your eyes no
If you must blow hot and cold take a swing
You will hit the target every time

When will you wake up see whats happening
Right before your eyeyeOhhh
If you must blow hot and cold take a swing
You will hit the target every time

I reached the waters edge
I wished that I could hold
Everybody’s breath until
No one has any left
You take me to the edge
You’re being called to follow
The foot prints that I left behind
Listen up I’ll sing to you how I can
Out of luck now time is all that we have
Think about yourself and you’ll kill all you love
I know our makers love all the mess they make
Out of sight behind these eyes you’ll stay
Where everything is possible
It’s beautiful

When will you wake up see whats happening
Right before your eyeyeOhhh
If you must blow hot and cold take a swing
You will hit the target every time

#38 The Young Knives – She’s Attracted To

The Young Knives hicieron su debut hace unos 5 años aproximadamente sacando un mini EP llamado The Young Knives….Are Dead. Fantástico single este, del disco Voices of Animals and Men.

The Young Knives – She’s Attracted To

Who are these people
they are too stupid to be your real parents
I’ve met some bone idles in my time but they really take the buiscuit.
I tried to make talk to them nice
I wanted them to like me yea!!
But the time went by and the look in their eye said its never gonna do the trick.

shes attracted to!!
shes attracted to!!
shes attracted to!!

shes attracted to!!
shes attracted to!!
shes attracted to!!

your dad cornered me in the hallway
while you were in the loo
he gave me a right talking to
he said i was a terroist
Reason i tried
But when reason she died
We were fighting in the drive under the security lights
And your mom was screaming

shes attracted to!!
shes attracted to!!
shes attracted to!!

shes attracted to!!
shes attracted to!
shes attracted to!!

When you finally joined the party
you took my side
then the whole street knew what was happening outside

You were screaming at your mom and i was punching your dad
You were screaming at your mom and i was punching your dad
You were screaming at your mom and i was punching your dad
You were screaming at your mom and i was punching your dad
You were screaming at your mom and i was punching your dad
You were screaming at your mom and i was punching your dad
You were screaming at your mom and i was punching your dad
You were screaming at your mom and i was punching your dad
You were screaming at your mom and i was punching your dad
You were screaming at your mom and i was punching your dad
You were screaming at your mom and i was punching your dad

in his face

Shes attracted to
Shes attracted to
Shes attracted to

Shes attracted to
Shes attracted to
Shes attracted to

#39 Feeder – Lost & Found

Feeder – Lost & Found

You’re the right stuff
I’ve got my head straight
Goin’ up town
I want to tell you
Hesitating
Standing back in (line)
Overriding
Body shaking
Coming straight down
Never knowing
Are you going?
Is there a next time?
Is there a next time?!

(Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah)

Lost and Found
Straight back down
Whats that sound?
Its pulling me straight back in
Head down again

No denying
Still deciding
For a week now
No mistaking
What you’re saying
Standing back in (line)
Revelation
Invitation
Its gonna take time
Never knowing
Are you going?
Is there a next time?
Is there a next time?!

(Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah)

Lost and Found
Straight back down
Whats that sound?
Its pulling me straight back in
Head down again

You’re the right stuff
I’ve got my head straight
Going up town
I want to tell you
Hesitating
How you doing? (fine)
Overriding
Body shaking
Coming straight back
Never knowing
Where you’re going
Is there a next time?
Is there a next time?

(Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah)

Lost and Found
Straight back down
Whats that sound?
Its pulling me straight back in
Head down again

Lost and Found
Straight back down
Its pulling me straight back in
Head down again

#40 The Kooks – Ooh La

Ooh La.

The Kooks – Ooh La

In their eyes is a place that you finally discovered
That you love each year, you’ve got to stay
On the bottom of the rock, an island
On which you find you love it when you twitch
You feel that itch in you pettycoat
Your pretty pretty pettycoat

Then you smiled, he got wild
You didn’t understand that there’s money to be made
Beauty is a card that must get played
By organisation

And ooh la, she was such a good girl to me
And ooh la, the world just chewed her up, and spat her out
And ooh la, she was such a good girl to me
And ooh la, the world just chewed her up, and spat her out

The world can be a very big place
So be yourself don’t get out of place
Love your mum and love him twice
Go to Hollywood and pay the price
Oh go to Hollywood

And don’t be a star, it’s such a drag
Take care of yourself, don’t begin to lag
It’s a hard life to live, so live it well
I’ll be your friend and not in pretend
I know you girl
In all situations

And ooh la, she was such a good girl to me
And ooh la, the world just chewed her up, and spat her out
And ooh la, she was such a good girl to me
And ooh la, the world just chewed her up, and spat her out

Pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty
Pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pettycoat
Pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty
Pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pettycoat
In all situations

And ooh la, she was such a good girl to me
And ooh la, the world just chewed her up, and spat her out
And ooh la, she was such a good girl to me
And ooh la, the world just chewed her up, and spat her out

#41 Milburn – Cheshire Cat Smile

Milburn – Cheshire Cat Smile

Oh how your mind’s not on it
Pass me a book and I’ll read you a sonnet, girl
Walls go up and guards come down
He’s bangin’ on the door thinkin’ «Where the fuck is she now?»
So open your mouth and stick to your guns
You’ve gotta realise that she’s indifferent
Woah oh ah oh what’s your name?
Just won’t learn, here we go again

So it has come to an end, things haven’t changed
You’re still lookin’ rough my friend
Things get broken, things come clear
If you wanted to leave so much then why are you still here?

So open your mouth and stick to your guns
You’ve gotta realise that she’s indifferent
Woah oh ah oh what’s your name?
Just won’t learn, here we go again

So open your mouth and stick to your guns
You’ve gotta realise that she’s indifferent
Woah oh ah oh what’s your name?
Just won’t learn, here we go again

#42 The Automatic – Raoul

Let’s go see Raoul!

The Automatic – Raoul

Our ambition got cast aside
Thrown away when the batterys died
And you start to comprimise
Just to get to the other side

But its always for the best
And if your not convinced
Then you’ll get left behind
I lost interest

It doesnt seem like you mean it
I dont believe that you believe it
And it feels like running with your eyes closed
If you forget what your supposed to be

It doesnt seem like you mean it
I dont believe that you believe it
And it feels like running with your eyes closed
If you forget what your supposed to be

(Lets go see Raoul) Lets make a stand
(Lets go see Raoul) For all the ones who
(Lets go see Raoul) Used to give a damn
(Lets go see Raoul)working all the time

Our ambitions got cast aside
Thrown away when the batterys died
And you start to comprimise
Just to get to the other side

It doesnt seem like you mean it
I dont believe that you believe it
And it feels like running with your eyes closed
If you forget what your supposed to be

It doesnt seem like you mean it
I dont believe that you believe it
And it feels like running with your eyes closed
If you forget what your supposed to be

Lets go see Raoul
Lets go see Raoul
Lets go see Raoul
Lets go see Raoul

(Lets go see Raoul) Lets go see Raoul
(Lets go see Raoul) Lets go see Raoul
(Lets go see Raoul) Lets go see Raoul
(Lets go lets go) Lets go see Raoul

It doesnt seem like you mean it
I dont believe that you believe it
And it feels like running with your eyes closed
If you forget what your supposed to be

It doesnt seem like you mean it
I dont believe that you believe it
And it feels like running with your eyes closed
If you forget what your supposed to be

(Lets go back to work) Lets go back to work

#43 James Dean Bradfield – That’s No Way To Tell A Lie

That’s No Way To Tell A Lie.

James Dean Bradfield – That’s No Way To Tell A Lie

I hear you’ve got some love to give away
And maybe it never belonged to you
So how come you know my name?

So it’s closing time again
For the lost souls on a pilgrimage
I think I’ve been here somewhere before

That’s no way to tell a lie
That’s no way to tell a lie

I hear you’ve got something to say
But first you need some people to say it to
Just before you rise from the dead

So we crawl from the water’s edge
Returning to dip our heads again
I’m back to where it all began

That’s no way to tell a lie
That’s no way to tell a lie

Sha la la la la

That’s no way to tell a lie
That’s no way to tell a lie

I hear you’ve got something to say
But first you need some people to say it to
Just before you rise from the dead

#44 Placebo – Meds

Placebo – Meds

I was alone, Falling free,
Trying my best not to forget
What happened to us,
What happened to me,
What happened as I let it slip.

I was confused by the powers that be,
Forgetting names and faces.
Passersby were looking at me
As if they could erase it

Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?

I was alone,
Staring over the ledge,
Trying my best not to forget
All manner of joy
All manner of glee
And our one heroic pledge

How it mattered to us,
How it mattered to me,
And the consequences

I was confused,
By the birds and the bees
Forgetting if I meant it

Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?

And the Sex and the drugs and the complications
And the Sex and the drugs and the complications
And the Sex and the drugs and the complications
And the Sex and the drugs and the complications

Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?

I was alone,
Falling free,
Trying my best not to forget

2007

Pronto viene tambien Kings of Leon, The Good The Band The Queen, Ash, Charlotte Hatherley, Manic Street Preachers, Kaiser Chiefs, Maximo Park y The Rakes.

New bands:
