«The hole in your heart won’t be vacant no more«

Después de unos años tocando en bares de la escena scouser y un par de sencillos en la mas total oscuridad, este 2007 pintaba por fin para ser el año de Alterkicks. Firmados con B-Unique, la casa de entre otros Kaiser Chiefs y Pull Tiger Tail, iniciaron el año sacando este single y más adelante lanzarían por fin un disco. Good Luck es una canción sencilla e inocente, con una gran letra como casi todas las de Alterkicks, y que musicalmente recuerda a los momentos más finos e ingleses del britpop (Cast, Bluetones). Es una lástima que esta canción (y todo lo subsecuente) no tuviera éxito, y es con esta entrada que aprovecho para dar la noticia de que este buen grupo de Liverpool anunció su separación hace un mes. Siempre tendremos esta buena música para recordarlos.
