Una canción completamente dedicada a las noches de fiesta, After Hours significó el regreso de We Are Scientists después de irrumpir hace un par de años en la escena mainstream, habiendo pasado varios años más como un grupo indie de  Nueva York que no conocían en casi ningun lado.  Regresaron con fuerza, siendo este single su posición mas alta en los charts británicos hasta la fecha, misma situación con su disco Brain Thrust Mastery. Seguro muchos pudieron escuchar esta canción en la película Nick & Norah.
