Una más de las historias de la vida cotidiana que narra Kelly Jones, que es cuando mejor le salen las canciones.  Siempre ha tenido una habilidad para narrar historias, con Innocent siendo un regreso a ellos después de que en los últimos discos no lo había hecho mucho.  Guardando las estridentes guitarras del último disco, la música es mucho más calmada y acústica, tal vez reflejando también ya los años que llevan los Phonics en este negocio.  Lástima que al disco no le haya ido tan bien, pero siempre podemos confiar en que Kelly Jones tiene al menos un par de hits bajo cada disco.
