Julian Casablancas no tuvo que hacer mucho para demostrar que es el hombre más importante de los Strokes.  Cansado de esperar a que sus compañeros estuvieran disponibles y con ganas de hacer un nuevo disco, se dio a la tarea de hacer su propio disco con canciones que sentía no quedaban para el grupo. Esta es la mas brillante de ellas, demostrando que aunque los Strokes algún dia no sigan, habrá Julian para rato.
