Muchos años pasaron para que Murdoc Nicalss se decidiera a hacer un nuevo disco de Gorillaz. Sin Noodle, perdida en el inframundo, y sin Russell, perdido en Estados Unidos, tuvo que recurrir a varios amigos y a secuestrar a 2-D para poder grabar Plastic Beach. En esta canción se hace acompañar de Mos Def y Bobby Womack, y finalmente fue la elegida para promocionar como single principal el muy exitoso tercer disco de Gorillaz, Plastic Beach.
