El guitarrista de los Strokes sorprendió con el anuncio hace unos meses de que sacaba un disco solista. Sobre todo, por el hecho de que los Strokes siempre han sido vistos como una unidad muy sólida, con una filosofía de todos para uno uno para todos, por lo que rápidamente se hablo de fracturas en la banda, y en especial, con Julian Casablancas. Albert salio rapidamente al paso de esas especulaciones y dijo «si ofrecí estas canciones a los Strokes, pero las vetaron, aunque Julian no fue, sino otros miembros.» Hace unos días Albert presento su disco con un concierto en un pequeño lugar en Nueva York.
