#14 Muse – Supermassive Black Hole

Muse – Supermassive Black Hole

Oh baby don’t you know I suffer?
Oh baby can you hear me moan?
You caught me under false pretences
How long before you let me go?

Oooh…You set my soul alight
Oooh…You set my soul alight

(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

I thought I was a fool for no-one
Oh baby I’m a fool for you
You’re the queen of the superficial
And how long before you tell the truth

Oooh…You set my soul alight
Oooh…You set my soul alight

(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole

Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

(You set my soul)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole

#15 Razorlight – In The Morning

Razorlight – In The Morning

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong
Maybe I’ve been here too long
The songs on the radio sound the same
Everybody just looks the same
But then last night was so much fun
And now your sheets are dirty
The streets are dirty too but
You never look back over what you’ve done
Remember when you were young
You’d lose yourself
In the morning, you know you won’t remember a thing
In the morning, you know it’s gonna be alright

Wake him up, warm him up
Put him on the stage, well
The boy can’t help it, it’s not his fault
Just a dangerous dangerous thing
But then every night’s still so much fun
And you’re still out there darling
Clinging on to the wrong ideas but
I never regret anything I’ve done

Remember when you were young
You’d lose yourself
In the morning you know he won’t remember a thing
In the morning you know it’s gonna be alright

In the morning, you know he won’t remember a thing
In the morning, you know it’s gonna be all. . .
In the morning, you know he won’t remember a thing
In the morning, you know it’s gonna be all’
In the morning, you know he won’t remember a thing
In the morning, you know it’s gonna be alright

Are you really gonna do it this time’
Are you really gonna do it this time’
Are you really gonna do it this time’
Are you really gonna do it this time’

You’ve got got to do it this time
Are you really gonna do it do it do what’
Are you really gonna do it do it do it yeah
Are you really gonna do it what

In the morning you know he won’t remember a thing
No not a thing and
In the morning you know he won’t remember a thing

#16 The Kooks – She Moves In Her Own Way

The Kooks – She Moves In Her Own Way

So at my show on Monday
I was told that someday
You’d be on your way to better things
It’s not about your make-up
Or how you try to shape up
To these tiresome paper dreams
Paper dreams honey

So now you pour your heart out
You’re telling me you’re far out
You’re all about to lie down for your cause
But you don’t pull my strings
Cause I’m a better man
Moving on to better things

But uh oh, I love her because
She moves in her own way
But uh oh, she came to my show
Just to hear about my day

And at the show on Tuesday
She was in her mindset
Tempered firs and spangled boots
Looks are decieving
Making me believe it
And these tiresome paper dreams
Paper dreams honey, yeah

So won’t you go far
Tell me you’re a keeper
You’re all about to lie down for your cause
Aut you don’t pull my strings because
Cause I’m a better man
Moving on to better things

But uh oh, I love her because
She moves in her own way
But uh oh, she came to my show
Just to hear about my day

Yes our wish’s that we never made it
Through all the summers
We kept them up instead of
Kicking us back down to the suburbs
Yes our wish’s that we never made it
Through all the summers
We kept them up instead of
Kicking us back down to the suburbs

But uh oh, I love her because
She moves in her own way
But uh oh, she came to my show
Just to hear about my day

But uh oh, I love her because
She moves in her own way
But uh oh, she came to my show
Just to hear about my day

#17 Arctic Monkeys – Leave Before The Lights Come On

Los primeros dos singles de los Arctic Monkeys, I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor y When The Sun Goes Down, fueron directo al #1 de los charts británicos.

Arctic Monkeys – Leave Before The Lights Come On

Well this is a good idea,
He wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t,
He wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t one.
Well my friend fancies you,
Oh what a way to begin it all,
You said it’s always exciting words to hear

And we woke up together not quite realising how,
Oh when your stretching and yawning,
Its always hard in the morning,

And I suppose that’s the price you pay,
Oh it isn’t what it was,
She’s thinking he looks different today,
And oh there’s nothing left to guess now,

You left before the lights came on,
Because you didn’t want to ruin,
All the lust that was brewing,
Before he absolutely had to,
And how can you wake up,
With someone you don’t love?
And not feel slightly fazed by it,
Oh, he had a struggle,

And you woke up together not quite realising how,
Oh but he’s stretching and yawning,
It’s always hard in the morning,

And I suppose that’s the price you pay,
Oh it isn’t what it was,
She’s thinking he looks different today,
And oh there’s nothing left to guess now,

Quick, let’s leave, before the lights come on,
‘Cos then you don’t have to see,
‘Cos then you don’t have to see,
What you’ve done,

Quick, let’s leave, before the lights come on,
‘Cos then you don’t have to see,
‘Cos then you don’t have to see,
What you’ve done,

Until tomorrow comes,

I’ll walk you up, what time’s the bus come?
I’ll walk you up, what time’s the bus come?
I’ll walk you up, what time’s the bus come?
I’ll walk you up, what time’s the bus come?

#18 The Strokes – Heart In A Cage

Nunca fallan.

The StrokesHeart In A Cage

Well I don’t feel better
When I’m fucking around
And I don’t write better
When I’m stuck in the ground
So don’t teach me a lesson
Cause I’ve already learned
Yeah the sun will be shining
And my children will burn

Oh the heart beats in its cage

I don’t want what you want
I don’t feel what you feel
See I’m stuck in a city
But I belong in a field

Yeah we got left, left, left, left, left, left, left,
Now it’s three in the morning and
You’re eating alone

Oh the heart beats in its cage

All our friends they’re laughing at us
All of those you loved, you mistrust
Help me, I’m just not quite myself
Look around there’s no one else left
I went to the concert and I fought through the crowd
Guess I got too excited when I thought you were around

Oh, he gets left, left, left, left, left, left, left

I’m sorry you were thinking I would steal your fire
Oh the heart beats in its cage
Yes the heart beats in its cage
Alright

And the heart beats in its cage.

#19 Guillemots – Trains To Brazil

Guillemots – Trains To Brazil

You’re feelin old

Its 1 o clock on a friday morning
I’m trying to keep my back from the wall
The prophets and their bombs have had another success
And i’m wondering why we bother at all

And i think of you on cold winter mornings
Darling they remind me of when we were at school
Nothing really mattered when you called out my name
In fact, nothing really mattered at all

And i think about how long it will take them to blow us away
But i won’t get me down, I’m just thankful to be facing the day

Cos days don’t get you far when you’re gone

It’s five o clock on a Friday morning
one hundred telephones shake and ring
And one of them is from someone who knew you

And i still think of you on cold winter mornings
Darling they’ll still remind me of when we were at school
When they could never have persuaded me that lives like yours
were the hands of these eronious fools

And to those of you who moan your lives through one day to the next
Well let them take you next
Cos you live and be thankful you’re here

See it could be you tomorrow next year

#20 Boy Kill Boy – Civil Sin

Boy Kill Boy – Civil Sin

Here’s to the gods and their seats on high
Nobody knows anything
Here’s to the flags in their guilty sky
Nobody says anything

This aside, this coast is clear
It doesn’t help, it doesn’t help me

Who am I? Only
One more life that you can owe me
It’s civilised, it’s civilised, it’s civil sin
Who am I? Only
One more lie so you can own me
It’s civilised, it’s civilised, it’s civil sin

Here’s to the crown in their Sunday best
Nobody knows anything
Here’s to the crowd, slaves who never rest
Nobody says anything

And this aside, this coast is clear
Until one man buys the whole show
And this aside, my mind is clear
It doesn’t help, it doesn’t help me

Who am I? Only
One more life that you can owe me
It’s civilised, it’s civilised, it’s civil sin
Who am I? Only
One more lie so you can own me
It’s civilised, it’s civilised, it’s civil sin

#21 Placebo – Song To Say Goodbye

Top top.

Placebo – Song To Say Goodbye

You are one of God’s mistakes.
You crying, tragic waste of skin.
I’m well aware of how it aches.
And you still won’t let me in.
Now I’m breaking down your door,
to try and save your swollen face.
Though I don’t like you anymore
you lying, trying waste of space.

Before our innocence was lost
you were always one of those
blessed with lucky 7s,
and the voice that made me cry.
My oh my.

You were mother nature’s son.
Someone to whom I could relate.
Your needle and your damage done,
remains a sordid twist of fate,
now I’m trying to wake you up,
to pull you from the liquid sky.
Cause if I don’t we’ll both end up
with just your song to say goodbye.

My oh my. A song to say goodbye,
A song to say goodbye,
A song to say,
Before our innocence was lost
you were always one of those
blessed with lucky 7’s,
and a voice that made me cry.

It’s a song to say goodbye.
It’s a song to say goodbye.
It’s a song to say goodbye.
It’s a song to say goodbye.
It’s a song to say goodbye.
It’s a song to say goodbye.
It’s a song to say goodbye.
It’s a song to say goodbye.

#22 Snow Patrol – Chasing Cars

Snow Patrol – Chasing Cars

We’ll do it all
Everything
On our own

We don’t need
Anything
Or anyone

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

I don’t quite know
How to say
How I feel

Those three words
Are said too much
They’re not enough

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we’re told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that’s bursting into life

Let’s waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads

I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we’re told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that’s bursting into life

All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes
They’re all I can see

I don’t know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things
Will never change for us at all

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

#23 Morning Runner – Burning Benches

Morning Runner – Burning Benches

Let us make amends,
we’re not overly good friends,
but its not Heaven
without you.

You can have it all,
we’ll see Mountains fall,
but its not Heaven
without you.

It’s the symphony distorting,
when were not talking,
but its not Heaven,
without you.

There’s just something different,
With the air about you,
The signs, the shapes, the numbers,
none of them give me a clue
You can have it all

And im not Burning Benches
cos the ash would make me choke
It was me who always spluttered
every time we spoke
you can have it all

Only The Names

Have Been Changed

Only The Names Have Been Changed

1. Suzy
2. Rosie
3. Liberty
4. Katie
5. Violet
6. Jayne
7. Misty
8. Emily
9. Jean
10. Summer

Closer

El nuevo single de Travis. A la venta 23 de Abril 2007.

y luego el disco The Boy With No Name.

Closer.

#24 Battle – Tendency

Battle – Tendency

I mean everything
That falls out my mouth
When I throw my arms around you

I love you like family
I love you like you don’t know
When I throw my arms around you

I know I dance like a drunken arse
Every weekend it’s my own advice:
Let me drink myself to death
To forget about the rent

Money gets like a twisted snake, hissing
I’ll show you more if you meet me here
Come over come over come over here
This is my only tendency
This is all I have left you see
Will you believe me?
Would you believe me?
Now

You think that it’s not enough
Well fella I’m all grown up
It’s clear that we don’t…
Well I’m moving on and up
But I’m still the boy you knew
The boy who threw his arms around you
If I said:

This is my only tendency
This is all I have left you see
Would you believe me?
Would you believe me?

A healthy man with a healthy plan
My kids will think im a healthy dad
When there’s nothing I don’t care to mention
Nothing I don’t care for

Now be my girl, yeah she is my world
Because she is the best bitch I’ve ever had
Come over come over come over me
And if I said

This is my only Tendency
Would you believe me?
Would you believe me?

Cause I mean everything
That falls out my mouth
I love you like family
I love you like you don’t know
But I’m moving on and up
But I’m still the boy you knew
The boy who threw him arms around you
The boy who threw his arms around you
The boy who threw his arms around you

#25 We Are Scientists – It’s A Hit

I’ve been hit!

We Are Scientists – It’s A Hit

I should have known that this would happen from the start
This kind of function’s going to have to fall apart
I guess before I would have sworn that we were friends
And in this problem must award some logic trend

Well I still don’t understand what this whole thing’s about
And all the words that you said are somehow stuck in my mouth
This was going so well, but I don’t know what I did
All I really can tell is
I’ve been hit!
I’ve been hit!
I’ve been hit!

Well there’s only so much drama I can stand
This is just about as far as I will bend
So get your hands off my lapel because I think it’s time to go
You oughta know that or you oughta know

And I still don’t understand what this whole thing’s about
And all the words that you said are somehow stuck in my mouth
This was going so well, but I don’t know what I did
All I really can tell is
I’ve been hit!
I’ve been hit!
I’ve been hit!

As I was falling down the stairs and out the door
Yes, I heard you yell my name but I’m not sure
You know, before I could have sworn that we were friends
Somehow that’s how these parties always seem to end

Well I still don’t understand what this whole thing’s about
And all the words that you said are somehow stuck in my mouth
This was going so well, but I don’t know what I did
All I really can tell is that
I always get hit

Well I still don’t understand what this whole thing’s about
And all the words that you said are somehow stuck in my mouth
I guess I might take it back, but I’m not sure what I did
All I know for a fact is
I’ve been hit!
I’ve been hit!
