Creo que para estas alturas del año es fácil olvidar aquellas canciones y discos que eran el soudntrack de nuestro principio de año. Pocos recordarán que el A Weekend In The City de Bloc Party es de este año, aunque parece que lleva tanto con nosotros. Dejando el sonido más crudo del debut y tratando de ampliar sus horizones, Bloc Party por momentos quisieron intentar canciones épicas, y por ahí he leído que este es su momento U2, bueno no en la historia gay de la canción si no en las ambiciones épicas. Si bien creo a nivel global no les ha funcionado mucho su nuevo sonido, en el Reino Unido sí, ya no son una banda más del montón.
