Segunda canción de la banda premier de Birmingham en esta lista. Creo que The Racing Rats es una canción que encapsula perfectamente lo que es el segundo disco de Editors. Letras buenas pero muy oscuras, canciones rápidas, energéticas, y un sonido más amplio y trabajado que en el debut. Ah claro y recordar que Tom Smith encontro el piano. Tercer single del An End Has A Start, y sorprendentemente, mejoro la posición del segundo singles (An End Has A Start), ya que entro un lugar más arriba, en el #26, nada mal para tercer single.
