«We’re gonna get ya when we’re done»

Los escoceses de Make Model parece que tenían todo planeado y listo.  Eran una de las bandas indies que más expectativa generaban en cualquier blog  hipster que se respetara.  XFM y Radio1 ya los empezaban a pasar por lo que parecía que el éxito comercial no tardaría en llegar. Tenían sello discográfico, videos, disco grabado, y un sonido que los hacía casi únicos en la escena del rock actual.  The Was el año pasado y The LSB este año habían causado sensación, Glastonbury y Reading los esperaban, gira anunciada, abridores para grandes bandas. Todo.  Y de buenas a primeras, su cantante principal y compositor, decide dejar la banda. Sin mas.  Todas las presentaciones canceladas, festivales y planes.  Su disco debut, Products of Kin, fue cancelado cuando ya se había anunciado su fecha de salida (por suerte se filtró).  Al menos, no se separaron, pero como el que se salió era la voz principal (de muchas) y varias canciones de su autoría, decidieron mejor empezar de cero, grabar demos de nuevo y replantear su estrategia.  Hasta la fecha, siguen en eso.
