Después de la oscura No Kind Words, siguió la canción mas luminosa de los Maccabees, Love You Better. Aunque triste en su letra, esta canción es la que más claramente mostraba el cambio del grupo de Brighton de su primer a segundo disco.  Producción mucho más cristalina y trabajada, menos urgencia y más capas daban paso a esta nueva y exitosa etapa del grupo.
