«Try to look proud but you’re not in the slightest»

El primer single que Bombay Bicycle Club lanzó con Island Records, Always Like This tomó inicialmente a sus fans por sorpresa, ya que el grupo había sacado casi siempre canciones mas energéticas o algunas acústicas, pero nada tan basado en el bajo y tan funk.  Jack Steadman ha dicho que esta canción esta inspirada en su gusto por la música bailable y con ritmo. Al mismo tiempo, la letra habla acerca de la soledad y el sentimiento de decepción y melancolía.  De lo mejor del año.
