A mediados del año pasado fue cuando Citizens! empezaron a darse a conocer al mundo, en gran parte gracias a la promoción de Alex Kapranos, que fue el productor del disco debut de la banda, Here We Are. Ese es, tal vez, una de las varias cosas destacables del disco. Que cuando Kapranos ya no tenga a Franz Ferdinand, podrá hacerlo muy bien como productor.
