Aunque Drowners son originarios de Nueva York, es difícil no escuchar un poco de influencia británica en su música. Para empezar, el nombre de la banda viene de la famosa canción de Suede, y el vocalista, Matt Hitt, es originario de Gales. Ya han abierto conciertos para The Vaccines y los Arctic Monkeys, aparte de ser buenos amigos de la ahora omnipresente Alexa Chung, así que creemos no falta mucho para que les llegue la fama. A finales de enero saldrá su disco debut.
