Después de la disolución temporal de The Fratellis, Jon Lawler lo intentó todo. Primero formó una banda, Codeine Velvet Club, la cual logró entrar hace tres años a nuestro top, pero aun así no duró mucho. Después, lo intentó de solista, y eso tampoco pegó mucho, con todo y que tenía buenas canciones. Así que hizo lo sensato, y volvió a juntar a The Fratellis. Tal vez no sean estrellas mundiales, pero seguro le va mejor que con las cosas que intentó el solo.
