The Finish Line es el primer single que Embrace dan a conocer de su nuevo disco, Love Is A Basic Need, que saldrá a la venta en marzo del 2018. Bueno, en realidad es la segunda canción que se conoce del disco, ya que la canción que da título al mismo salió el año pasado, aunque sospechamos ni ellos sabían que terminaría siendo el título del disco. Parece que Embrace vuelve un poco a sus raíces para este disco, dejando un poco atrás el sonido más electrónico y revolucionado de su disco homónimo anterior, volviendo más a las canciones épicas con orquesta y piano como elemento principal.
