Bombay Blue es la segunda canción de Curve of the Earth, el gran disco que los Mystery Jets lanzaron a principios de año, el primero que graban con su nuevo bajista, Jack Flanagan, que se ha vuelto el reemplazo permanente del bajista original Kai Fish.  Según Blaine Harrison, cantante y líder del grupo, la llegada de Jack le inyectó una nueva energía al grupo, algo que dice que definitivamente necesitaban.
